Quality Management Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Management Coordinator to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the planning, development, and delivery of research and evaluation activities in Mental Health and Addictions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and supporting evaluation and research into mental health and addictions through the utilization of mental health and addictions information management systems. This will involve coordinating and organizing program evaluations, acquiring and synthesizing academic and grey literature, and preparing and managing databases for data collection.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics, biostatistics, health informatics, or health science/social science, with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience. They will possess expert-level knowledge and skills related to data linkage, data analysis, statistical manipulation, interpretation, and knowledge translation.
The Quality Management Coordinator will work closely with the Manager of Planning and Evaluation, Mental Health and Addictions, to develop and implement research and evaluation initiatives that will inform best practices in mental health and addictions care.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about improving healthcare outcomes. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health and addiction information systems, as well as experience with business intelligence tools and software. They will also possess knowledge of the Canadian Institute of Health Information and associated databases.
We offer a competitive salary range of $35.09-$44.09 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.
HoursThis is a long-assignment full-time position, with approximately 18 months of work. The successful candidate will be required to work 70 hours biweekly, with some travel between sites.
