JSD Construction Experts is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team.

This permanent position offers an estimated annual salary of $60,000.00, based on industry standards and national averages.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills to work as part of our construction team. As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, mixing plaster ingredients, and applying coats of stucco to form weatherproof surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster.
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Install acoustic tile, hangers for suspended ceilings, and metal studs for composition wallboard or lath.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
