Drywall Installation Job Description

At 3A Renos Inc., we are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and sanding seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install drywall sheets, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Apply successive coats of compound, smoothing out excess material and allowing each coat to dry before applying the next.
  • Sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to install drywall and other materials.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work at heights.
Work Environment:

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights and in confined spaces. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure project completion.
