Job Summary

NORTHSTAR QUILTING AND SUPPLIES INC is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for coordinating the organization's financial operations and budget activities to optimize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans and forecasts to support business growth and decision-making.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Control: Establish and maintain financial control systems to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
  • Compliance: Identify and investigate compliance issues, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to senior management.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful team performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
