Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team in Mississauga. As an RPN with Spectrum Health Care, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, providing personalized care and support in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the community, including wound management, infusion therapy, and palliative care.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Assess, anticipate, and respond to the changing needs of patients, providing ongoing support and education.
- Travel within your region to provide care to patients in their homes.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of nursing experience, with a focus on community nursing.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Ability to work independently in the community, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, with additional languages an asset.
- Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Experience with infusion therapy, mental health, palliative care, and wound care.
