Mechanical Equipment Specialist in Vancouver

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in the Greater Vancouver area. As a Mechanical Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of various machinery and equipment at our client's facility.
Job DescriptionThe primary role of this position is to perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and make repairs as needed. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance on stationary and mobile equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and repair work
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A strong understanding of mechanical systems, including electrical and hydraulic components
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on safety and reliability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
