Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at the Lamplighter Motel. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, pick up debris and empty trash containers, and launder clothing and household linens.
  • Guest Room Preparation: Ensure guest rooms are clean, tidy, and ready for occupancy, restock amenities, and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to achieve team goals, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
