Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Lamplighter Motel. As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens.
  • General Maintenance: Wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.

Requirements:

  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
