Industrial Construction Division Manager

Black & McDonald Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Division Manager to lead our Industrial Construction Division in the Saskatchewan Region. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for the overall success of the division, driving business growth, and developing a pipeline of clients and secured work opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of experts in industrial construction projects, ensuring successful completion and exceeding customer expectations.
- Promote a safety-first approach, proactive planning, and leading by example.
- Maintain industry knowledge, staying up-to-date on current and future opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a corporate image, conducive to brand development and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies, processes, and controls.
- Engage in business development, aligned with a regularly reviewed business and marketing plan.
- Monitor budgets and cash-flow, identifying risks and deviances.
- Emphasize productivity and workforce hours tracking, achieving strong job management.
- Ensure regional compliance with company, client, municipal, provincial, and federal OHS regulations.

- Strategic Perspective
- Technical diploma, engineering degree, MBA, and/or relevant post-secondary education combined with construction trade experience and knowledge.
- 15+ years of senior leadership experience in a similar position.
- Strong understanding of the construction industry, pricing strategies, and industry relationships.
- Strong budgetary analysis abilities, including reading financial statements.
- Business acumen, with the ability to drive the business forward through business development activities.
- Experience with a trade union environment.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of contract management, construction scheduling, planning, and execution, quality control and quality assurance management systems, project structural design interpretation, financial statements, applicable local and provincial labour codes, managing/leading union and non-union staff, business operations processes, organization and time management.
- Willing to travel to project sites in Western Canada.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean record.
- Successfully pass Security Clearance per client-specific site requirements.
- Successfully pass Drug & Alcohol screening per client-specific site requirements.
