About the Role

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS). As a key member of our IT department, you will provide first- and second-level hardware and software support to our users, ensuring they have the tools they need to perform their duties effectively.

Responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and troubleshooting point-of-sale stations, as well as performing updates and maintenance. You will also conduct installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware and software, and review hardware and software to recommend items for purchase.

As a hands-on role, you will work with a team to exercise your knowledge and skills daily. If you are passionate about technology and want to be part of a team that is becoming the orchestrator of digital innovation, this is the opportunity for you.

Requirements

Education and Certifications

College diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and ITIL certification.

Experience

Maintaining and supporting enterprise-wide software and telecommunications infrastructure, systems analysis, network, hardware, and software management and support, help desk support, problem analysis and resolution, and application testing.

Competencies

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership.

Language Requirements

Bilingual (English and French) essential, with functional reading, writing, and oral skills.
