Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team at MCA Dental Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement personalized dental hygiene treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough medical and dental health history screenings, and update patient records as necessary.
- Perform routine assessments, including full mouth charting, probing, and oral cancer screening.
- Take radiographs and impressions as prescribed by the dentist, and intraoral photos as required.
- Identify and address conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis, and develop treatment plans to prevent their progression.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-operative instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and charting.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care and efficient scheduling.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
- Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist, with a strong background in infection control and patient assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Proficiency in dental software, including SAPPHIRE, Tracker, and Abeldent.
- A competitive hourly rate of $47.00-$52.00.
