Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team at MCA Dental Group. As a key member of our dental hygiene team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.
Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' oral health needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement effective dental hygiene treatments.
- Infection Control and Safety: Maintain the highest standards of infection control, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Medical History and Screening: Gather and update patients' medical histories, identifying potential risks and ensuring informed treatment decisions.
- Oral Health Education and Prevention: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, plaque control, and post-operative care, promoting long-term oral health.
- Documentation and Charting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
- Team Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with dental hygienists, dental assistants, dentists, and administration to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
- Education and Certification: Diploma or degree in dental hygiene, registered dental hygienist in good standing with the CDHO.
- Experience and Skills: Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental hygienist, excellent infection control skills, ability to assess oral health, and experience with dental software.
