We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Technician to join our team at Link Builders.

About the Role

This is a permanent opportunity with 30-50 hours of work per week. No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience is sufficient for this role.

Work Environment
  • The position involves working outdoors in various locations, including urban areas, rural areas, and remote locations.
  • The work environment can be noisy, dusty, and physically demanding.
Key Responsibilities
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
  • Cleaning and lubricating cranes.
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assisting in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Leveling earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Operating cranes mounted on boats or barges to lift, move, and place equipment and materials.
  • Performing routine maintenance work.
  • Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Directing traffic at or near construction sites.

Compensation and Benefits
