At Borea Construction, we're committed to delivering exceptional services in the renewable energy sector. As a Wind Turbine Technician, you'll play a vital part in our mission to generate clean energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install wind turbine components, adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures.
  • Clean and prepare components for installation, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with crane operators to ensure seamless lifting operations.
  • Operate equipment such as telehandlers, skid steers, and manlifts to facilitate efficient installation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to company standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work long hours (10-14 hours) and relocate to remote work areas.
  • Certifications in relevant areas (GWO, Working at Heights, Fall Protection, etc.) are an asset.
  • One year of construction industry experience is considered an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to provide a clean driver's abstract if requested.
  • Good physical condition, reflexes, functional senses, and physical strength.
  • Comfort working in confined spaces and at heights up to 400ft.
  • Ability to work in high-stress environments and extreme weather fluctuations.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
