OTHER REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma/GED preferred Ability to work long hours (10-14hrs) Ability to relocate to work areas in sometimes remote and rural areas Certifications in relevant areas would be an asset (GWO, Working at Heights, Fall Protection, Tower Rescue, Confined Space, etc.) One year of construction industry experience would be considered an asset Valid driver license and ability to provide a clean drivers’ abstract if requested Good physical condition, good reflexes, functional senses, and physical strength Comfort in working in confined spaces and at heights up to 400ft Comfort working in high-stress environment with Comfort working outside in sometimes extreme weather fluctuations Ability to work in teams and communicate both verbally and written Ability to identify problems and provide solutions, or seek guidance A keen eye to details and good decision-making skills Manage to handle emergency situations, work under pressure and stress Good hand-eye coordination is required

Ability to work in confined and enclosed spaces

What you will do to complete this mission successfully:

Install wind turbine components whichincludes these tasks: Follow turbine and turbine component installation procedures Respect, maintain, and promote a strong sense of safety, and comply with all Company and Client safety policies and procedures Clean components on the ground and in/around the work area(s) Complete mechanical preparation of the components on the ground. Ensure that visual inspection for damage is completed Ensure safe lifting operations prior to lifting Rig the components with turbine specific rigging devices Climb Wind turbines daily, up to 400ft Establish strong, consistent communication with crane operators Use Taglines to maintain control of the loads Bolt and torque the components sections using hydraulics or pneumatics as per the installation instructions Operate equipment such as telehandlers, skid steers and manlifts General worksites clean up and maintenance of organizational standards
