About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Health Worker to join our team at Kootenay Society for Community Living. As a Community Health Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with diverse needs in a community setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes or community settings
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as housekeeping, food preparation, and medication management
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings, promoting independence and community integration
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check and immunization records
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
