About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Golden Star Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Operate dishwashers and wash dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand to ensure they are sparkling clean.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain a well-organized kitchen.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, and polish floors to keep the kitchen clean and tidy.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Working Conditions

This is a temporary position with 35 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
