About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Harvesting Labourer to join our team at Meadow Berry Farms. As a key member of our farm team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective harvesting of our crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Management: Clean the crops, harvest seedlings, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including fruit harvesters, combine harvesters, fertilizer applicators, and planting equipment.
  • Task Management: Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality, fertilize and spray crops, and harvest crops in a timely and efficient manner.
Work Environment

As a Harvesting Labourer at Meadow Berry Farms, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Will train, but previous experience in fruit and vegetable farming is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 60 hours per week, with a permanent employment opportunity.
