We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Service Technician to join our team at Markham Acura. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance services on a wide range of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify any malfunctions and perform the repair.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to pinpoint complex problems.
- Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair recommendations to customers.
- Qualify all vehicles for warranty coverage prior to performing warranty repairs.
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
- Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technology advancements, and updates in automotive systems.
- Complete repair orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid 310s License.
- Proven experience as a licensed Automotive Technician (3+ years preferred).
- Strong product knowledge.
- Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs.
- Knowledge of the latest automotive technology and advancements.
- Good time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
- General Dealership experience.
- Brand experience preferred.
