Job Title: Registered Nurse - Perinatal/Obstetrics/Labour & Delivery/MaternityJob Summary:

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Perinatal Services team at Richmond Hospital in Richmond, BC. As a Registered Nurse in Perinatal Services, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal perinatal care to women and babies and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Use clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients in the perinatal service.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved nursing program and current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Completion of a post-basic obstetrical/perinatal nursing certificate/diploma.
  • Two (2) years' recent related experience in a Level 2-3 Maternity Unit, supplemented by courses in fetal health assessment and breastfeeding.
