The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineering Manager to join our team in Port Colborne, Ontario. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for establishing and driving process improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and guiding the process engineering group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure seamless execution of processes
  • Lead and mentor process engineers to drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators, including uptime, quality, and equipment reliability
  • Participate in root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to mitigate systemic issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical) or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of manufacturing/process engineering experience, with a proven track record of success in fast-paced environments
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience, with a strong emphasis on team leadership and collaboration
  • Experience with plastic extrusion equipment, web handling equipment, and rotation equipment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9000 or similar quality systems, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen techniques
