Job Summary

This role will be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse operations are running efficiently, effectively, and safely. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team of 5-10 people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations;
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery in the warehouse;
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed;
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality;
  • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement;
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work tasks to meet deadlines and objectives;
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required;
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize efficiency;
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics to achieve business goals.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or private sector;
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs);
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations;
  • Judgement and initiative to make informed decisions;
  • Reliability and organization to meet deadlines and objectives.
