Catering Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Manager to join our team at Dana Hospitality. As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative and financial aspects of our catering operations, including ordering, budgeting, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement catering menus and recipes that meet client needs and company standards.
  • Manage catering staff, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate catering events, including logistics, setup, and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor and control catering costs, including inventory management and supplier relationships.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve catering operations.
Requirements:
  • Three years of recent experience in food service management, preferably in a high-volume catering environment.
  • Red Seal Chef status or equivalent certification.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
