We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Motion Logistics Ltd. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the logistics team, ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics functions.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, providing insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure our equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting their performance goals.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.Support for Diverse Groups
    • Cultural Competency: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
    • Youth Support: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
    • Indigenous Support: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
    Requirements
    • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
    • Language: English.
    • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
