Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Wayahead Logistics Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support logistics operations.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize logistics efficiency.
- Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including transportation, inventory management, and warehousing.
- Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Attention to detail is essential to ensure accurate inventory management and logistics operations.
- Provide physical accessibility accommodations, such as ramps and elevators, to ensure equal access to our facilities.
- Provide visual and auditory accessibility accommodations, such as braille and transcription software, to support employees with disabilities.
- Participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities and promote inclusive hiring practices.
- Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, and provide assistance with immediate settlement needs.
- Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees through language training, skills training, and job placement services.
- Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment and provide on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities.
- Participate in government or community programs that support Veterans and provide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
- Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people and provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees.
- Participate in government or community programs that support mature workers and provide phased retirement options and flexible work arrangements.
- Participate in government or community programs that support members of visible minorities and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to all employees.
