Executive Chef for Yua Japanese Bistro

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced executive chef to join our team at Yua Japanese Bistro.
About the JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and maintaining high-quality food standards.
This is a permanent full-time position with a salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities- Manage kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
- Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to meet health and safety regulations.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of Japanese cuisine.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
