Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized Finance and Accounting Specialist to join our team at Pearson Physiotherapy and Back Pain Clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process cheques for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and balance various financial accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Generate general ledgers and financial statements, providing valuable insights into the clinic's financial performance.
  • Post journal entries and prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts and maintain financial records with precision.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 month of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Familiarity with public transportation options in the area, as occasional travel may be required.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience.
