District Operations Coordinator

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized District Operations Coordinator to join our team at H&R Block. As a key member of our district operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our retail offices, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, and contributing to the success of our district.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Assist District Managers with daily operations and provide administrative support as needed.
- Travel to various office locations to train staff, ensure excellent client standards, set up computer equipment, and install marketing/signage.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard talent to support the growth and development of our district.
- Monitor and adjust office and staffing schedules as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate the setup and shutdown of assigned offices, ensuring a smooth transition of operations.
- Support the planning and execution of training and development initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of our team members.
- Maintain asset management inventory, process invoice payments, and manage petty cash to ensure accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with H&R Block policies, procedures, and relevant employment and privacy legislation.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail or a similar customer-oriented industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to manage priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to set up workstation computers and work with various software packages.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel regularly to multiple district offices.
- Must possess a valid driver's license, insurance, vehicle registration, and a reliable vehicle.
The hourly rate for this position is $21.00. Please note that hourly positions are not eligible for the Company's benefit plan.
