Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Lakeview Tandoori Bistro Ltd.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk.
- Client focus, flexibility, and team player skills.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of staff who are passionate about providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
