Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Lakeview Tandoori Bistro Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain high standards.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and monitor expenses to ensure that they are within budget.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve issues promptly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and provide regular reports to management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced atmosphere.
- Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, walking, and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.

We offer a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week and English as the primary work language.
