About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Analyst to join our team at Rona Inc. As an Accounting Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Revenue Management: Manage and reconcile vendor revenues, including purchase and sales-based revenues, in accordance with vendor contracts and agreements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including management reports and analysis, to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including FP&A, Merchandising, and Affiliate/Dealer Store teams, as well as external customers, such as trade vendors.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve financial discrepancies and issues, including vendor disputes and revenue calculations/claims.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Skills: Advanced Excel skills, experience with accounting systems such as Oracle/EBS, and strong analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Language: Proficient in French, spoken and written, and English.
