Job Summary

Industries AmNor Inc is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, ordering parts and maintaining inventory, adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts, and keeping maintenance reports and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment: Use technical knowledge and skills to identify and diagnose equipment problems, and perform routine inspections to detect potential issues.
  • Order Parts and Maintain Inventory: Source and procure necessary parts and materials, and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure efficient equipment operation.
  • Adjust and Repair Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including welding and other technical tasks.
  • Keep Maintenance Records: Maintain accurate and detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma program in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or repair.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge and skills, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
