Job Responsibilities:- Construct, alter, repair, and maintain all electric components integral to industrial activities and electrical systems.
- Install new and maintain low and high voltage equipment.
- Work in industrial work settings.
- Work around energized power and control equipment.
- Determine appropriate selection of materials.
- Contribute to the execution of completing work safety.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Registered electrical apprentice.
- Experience in industrial or commercial settings considered an asset.
- Industrial facility safe work qualifications considered an asset.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to maintain a clean abstract.
- Available for out-of-town work based on varying project requirements.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, drive regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Should be able to pass a fit for duty physical exam when required.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Calm, positive attitude under pressure.
- Strong communication skills.
- An aptitude and willingness to learn and proven initiative.
