Key Responsibilities:

  • Support quality first impressions at the front desk, lobby, and guest entrance by being present and visible in operations throughout the day
  • Engage team members to deliver exceptional results in all rooms and public areas, ensuring high standards for cleanliness and readiness
  • Direct and coordinate hotel activities to achieve established goals, objectives, and standards
  • Monitor all hotel departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Provide direct reports with training, resources, direction, coaching, and feedback required for their continuous development
  • Analyze GSS scores to identify areas requiring additional training and support
  • Own sales activities for the hotel, working in conjunction with the Corporate Sales Team and Director of Revenue Optimization
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payables processes to ensure organizational standards are adhered to

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Hotel General Manager
  • Minimum 5 years of Hotel leadership experience
  • Post-Secondary education or Tourism related degree
