Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RN/RPN) to join our Mental Health and Substance Use Services team at Fraser Health Authority.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centered and recovery-oriented care to individuals with mental health and substance use issues.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Conduct mental health assessments, administer prescribed medications, and monitor client progress.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health and substance use management.
- Participate in case conferences and meetings to ensure coordinated care and advocacy for clients.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- One year of recent, related experience providing treatment services to individuals with mental health and/or concurrent disorders.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage.
