Transportation Fleet Manager

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Fleet Manager to join our team at All Directions Transport. This is a permanent position that offers a salary of $1,300,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor department's performance and identify areas for improvement
- Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources
- Recruit and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and qualifications
- Manage finances and negotiate for services and preferential rates
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
- 11-15 years of experience in fleet management
- Proven track record of improving departmental performance and efficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles
- Dental plan and health care plan
- Free parking available on site
- Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
- Supports Veterans in translating their military skills and experience into the language of the civilian job market
