About the Role

Bayer AG is seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team. As a key member of our medical affairs department, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with thought leaders and healthcare professionals in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scientific Expertise: Provide scientific expertise and support to thought leaders and healthcare professionals on Bayer's products and therapeutic areas.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including thought leaders, healthcare professionals, and medical associations.
  • Education and Training: Develop and deliver educational programs and materials to support the medical community's understanding of Bayer's products and therapeutic areas.
  • Market Access and Research: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support market access and research initiatives.
  • Investigator Initiated Research: Facilitate the interface between investigators and Bayer personnel to support the development of investigator-initiated research projects.
  • Medical Operations and Site Management: Support medical operations and site management for non-interventional and interventional trials.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for internal stakeholders on disease state, Bayer products, and competitor products.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, with advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a customer-facing medical affairs role or experience in drug information, clinical research and development, or other clinical relevant activities.
  • Skills: Strong scientific knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience learning and using digital technology to develop communications and conduct analysis of medical data.
