Job Title: Community Residential Worker

Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide essential care and support to individuals in need within the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting participants with daily activities, providing companionship and emotional support, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist participants with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to participants
  • Help participants with mobility and transportation needs
  • Monitor and report any changes in participants' health or behavior
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure the well-being of participants

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Disability supports or a related field is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals in need
  • Supervising skills are a plus
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds is required

Working Hours: 7:00AM-7:00PM & 7:00pm-7:00AM

Temporary Full-Time Positions: With the potential to turn permanent depending on the needs of the participants.
