Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of advisors and support staff to achieve financial targets and implement the Bank's strategic vision
  • Provide personalized coaching and development opportunities to enhance the skills and career progression of your team members
  • Hire, develop, and manage the performance of your team members to ensure they meet their full potential
  • Mobilize your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and ensure compliance with established rules and procedures
  • Act as the Business Unit Compliance Officer to supervise mutual fund representatives and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive acquisition and retention
  • Optimize service quality for small businesses, aligning advisor allocation with market potential

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in management and coaching of a consulting/business development team
  • Business development experience in the financial field
  • Diploma of College Studies (DEC) or equivalent, with 8-10 years of experience, or industry-related university certificate or PUB with 9 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree related to the industry with 5-7 years of experience, or Master's degree with 5 years of experience
  • Be a mutual fund representative (REC) and responsible for compliance of the administrative unit (RCUA) or become one within 3-6 months of hiring
  • Proficiency in English (an asset)
