Job Summary

As a Store Manager at Fields, you will be responsible for leading store operations, driving sales growth, and developing a high-performing team. This role requires a strong communicator with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a deep understanding of commercial or retail industry principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales through effective merchandising concepts, credit marketing, and communication with buyers and head office.
  • Customer Service: Ensure Fields' customer service standards are maintained, participate in community events, and support operational controls.
  • Operational Controls: Ensure health and safety compliance, maintain a clean and easy-to-shop store environment, enforce standard operating procedures, and utilize labor management and expense control initiatives to maximize profits.

Requirements:

  • Commercial/Retail Industry Experience: Familiarity with the commercial or retail industry and its challenges.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve company goals.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.

Compensation Package: The estimated salary for this position is between $75,000-$90,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off, is also provided.
