Job Summary

The AM Sorter plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient sorting and separation of freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

This position requires strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
  • Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
  • Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
  • Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
  • Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
  • Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery
Working Conditions

This role is based in a warehouse environment, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong physical stamina and be able to lift up to 70 pounds.

Requirements

No specialized education or experience is required for this position.

Able to work a 25-hour week, Monday to Friday, 2:00 AM – 7:00 AM.
