Job Summary

The AM Sorter plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of freight to our clients. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for sorting and separating freight by destination, weight, size, and shape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
  • Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
  • Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
  • Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
  • Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
  • Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery
Requirements

No specialized education is required for this role. Additionally, no prior experience is necessary. However, you must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and have manual dexterity.

Working Conditions

This is a warehouse environment with a regular schedule of Monday to Friday, 2:00 AM – 7:00 AM (25 hours/week). The hourly wage for this position is $22.27.
