Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload goods with care, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and efficiency.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately and efficiently.
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo is a critical aspect of this role.
Requirements
  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles) is a must.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for effective customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and prolonged driving.
