Responsibilities:
  • Arrange the bar area to create an attractive display of beverages and garnishes.
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Advise customers on wine selection and provide recommendations on drink pairings.
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons and collect payment.
  • Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock to ensure optimal levels.
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to ensure a safe and responsible environment.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, draft and bottled beer, and non-alcoholic options.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide exceptional customer service.
