About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at Vertex Construction & Management Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing various types of floor coverings, including carpeting, resilient flooring, and hardwood floors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring a smooth and even installation process.
  • Material Handling: Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding, as well as install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors.
  • Removal and Preparation: Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants, and prepare floors for installations.
Work Environment

As a Floor Covering Installer, you will work in various locations, including residential and commercial settings. You will be part of a dynamic team that values diversity, inclusivity, and a welcoming work environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not mandatory.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
