  • This is a mid-senior level full-time position that will require you to lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures using Databricks and other BI tools.
  • You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop robust data models, ensuring high data quality and reduced redundancy.

Data Architecture Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data architecture strategies for BI systems, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable plans.
  • Develop ETL processes to integrate data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and availability for reporting and analysis.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate BI tools and technologies based on organizational needs, implementing and configuring software such as data visualization tools, reporting platforms, and analytics solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize BI system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks through query tuning, data structure optimization, and caching mechanisms.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in software development and deployment, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with SQL, Databricks, ADF, Datastage (or other ETL tool), SSAS cubes, Cognos, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, and other BI tools.
  • Experience building data ingestion pipelines, data warehouse or database architecture, and working with APIs to collect or ingest data.
  • Strong database knowledge, SQL & No-SQL preferred, and analytical approach to problem-solving with ability to work at an abstract level and gain consensus.
  • Friendly, articulate, and interested in working in a fun, small team environment.
