Join Pinchin's Team as a Senior Project Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Technologist to join our team at Pinchin. As a Senior Project Technologist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality environmental services to our clients.

About the Role

The Senior Project Technologist will be responsible for leading and managing environmental projects, including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, soil, groundwater, and vapour sampling, and environmental remediation activities. You will also be responsible for preparing and editing technical reports, liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, and developing and maintaining positive client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage environmental projects from start to finish
  • Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, including soil, groundwater, and vapour sampling
  • Oversee environmental remediation activities
  • Prepare and edit technical reports
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in Environmental Science
  • 2-6 years of related experience, preferably in British Columbia
  • Professional designation, such as P. Eng., P. Geo., P.Ag. etc. (or working towards) is considered an asset
  • Excellent writing, editing, technical, and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solve
  • Detail-oriented, strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with BC Contaminated Sites Regulations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
