We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Risk Manager to join our team at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA. As a key member of our Risk Management Department, you will play a critical role in evaluating and mitigating cybersecurity risks across our organization.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate cybersecurity threats.
- Collaborate with our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and IT teams to establish and maintain robust cybersecurity controls.
- Develop and implement effective risk management programs, leveraging industry-standard frameworks such as FAIR.
- Provide independent assurance and validation of cybersecurity controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify emerging cyber threats and develop strategies to address them.
- Lead and support remediation efforts, working closely with stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain tools for aggregating and surveilling cybersecurity risk, data risk, and technology risk.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements, ensuring our organization remains compliant and secure.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant technical field.
- Strong understanding of financial services and cybersecurity regulations, including NYSDFS, ECB, GDPR, GLBA, and Regulation S-P.
- Experience in assessing design and operating effectiveness of technology controls.
- Solid foundation in information technology and information security principles, with knowledge of common cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
- Previous experience in cybersecurity operations and relevant security design knowledge.
- Background in IT risk assessment, IT audit, and information security management.
- Experience integrating vulnerability and patch management tools with IT/IS risk programs.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead by influence.
