Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at 2242630 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Food Procurement: Requisition food and kitchen supplies from reputable vendors to maintain a consistent and high-quality inventory.
- Culinary Operations: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the dietary needs of our clients.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
- Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain consistency and quality.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
- Cleanliness: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

- Work Term: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week.
- Work Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
