About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Wild Wings. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, including special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Kitchen Operations Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, manage kitchen operations, and order supplies and equipment.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit and hire staff, and lead the kitchen team to achieve our culinary goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.

As a Culinary Specialist at Wild Wings, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail, physical demands, and repetitive tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
